Holidays are Here!

I can't believe how fast this year has gone. Next month we have our Christmas party on Dec. 12, beginning at 6 p.m. Bring your favortie dessert or Christmas candy. We'll serve Phil's BBQ for the meal. Each of us need to bring a wrapped gift; price not to exceed $20. Nursery will be available. Please sign up so we can plan appropiately. Adopt A Highway

Our signs are up! Although we haven't received our materials for our highway program, our signs have been posted. As you are driving west on 412, just as you pass Imo Rd, you will see our sign. The second one is located on 412, just east of the Highway 132 turn-off. Once we have our meeting with our officials, we'll be ready to begin. Due to the high amount of traffic, we are not allowed to have anyone under the age of 18 on our crew. As soon as the meeting has been set up, I will let everyone know. The Election's Over

I don't know about you, but I'm glad it's over. Regardless of how you voted, or what you may have wanted the outcome to be, now it's our job to lift up our new President in prayer. I've heard some grumbling, and that's not what we're to do. The Word tells us to pray for our leaders and that's exactly what we need to be doing. As our new President-elect Obama prepares to move into the White House and take over his role leading our nation, pray with me for God to fill him with wisdom to lead our nation.

Redirection for Tonight

Everyone attending Celebrate Recovery tonight will need to enter through the west gym doors. The church will be packed with voters. We want to be respectful of them and not be walking through the voting area. We appreciate your help in this. See you tonight.
